The Healing Connection provides professional prenatal and children massage services. Massages for pregnant women can reduce backaches, stress, and swelling. We offer birthing doula services that help pregnant women and couples through the process of childbirth in hospitals, at birth centers. For Postpartum, massages can help a woman with aches in the body from after delivering her baby or from holding the child with multiple breast feedings a day, and just to make her feel better after carrying all the added weight from pregnancy.

Infant and Pediatric Massage Services

Today, children can experience stress from being overloaded with activities. Sports activity and other physical activities can cause extremely-tight muscles and tension in the body. Even young infants and children are prone to stress. A young child starting school who is unfamiliar with the surroundings or children in a new classroom may experience stress. In addition, family illness or family financial problems, divorce, or extended travel may induce stress. There is a relationship between stress and the immune system.

Children massage has been shown to improve blood sugar levels in diabetics, improve pulmonary function in asthmatics, and improve skin conditions in children with eczema.
